Route for car travelers to La Plagne.
Use the Dover/Calais route for fast and frequent channel crossings. Travel via AutoRoute A26. Initially follow the Paris signs but keep on A26 to Reims & then Troyes and Lyon. Just before Lyon follow the bypass route to Chambery and Albertville. Then you are on the last stretch of dual carriageway to Moutiers. At Moutiers follow the signs to Bourg St Maurice and Aime. You are heading for Aime and not Bourg St Maurice so take the turnoff for Aime. You will drive through Aime and pick up signs for La Plagne. Then up the 18 kilometres of winding road passing the Olympic Bob sleigh run to arrive at the bottom of Plagne 1800. There is a one way system in operation. Keep on driving until you reach the top of the village, sign posted Plagne 1800.
